GSDH Digital Marketing is looking for a Digital Designer Intern in Cape Town
GSDH digital marketing is a digital agency with departments in South Africa and Switzerland. We conceptualise and create all types of different digital measures for our clients such as websites, microsites, online shops, applications, campaigns and much more for both, the European and South African markets. We consider ourselves strong in creative and strategic thinking as well as fulfilling the client's business objectives in the most creative way possible. Our international team consists of creative designers, conceptualizers, front-end and back-end developers and focussed project managers. To join our team we are currently looking for:
Digital Designer Intern
Our Designers are excited to push themselves while they’re here and grow quickly – and we want you to soak up as much from this environment as possible. That’s why you will be fully integrated into the creative process and work seamlessly with the creative team on various clients, projects and tasks. The ability to competently contribute ideas and execute those of others is key. We’re looking for multi-faceted, collaborative young designers to work on everything from full website rebuilds to display ads and national marketing.
How you can expect to spend your days
- Create digital designs from websites to interfaces, Facebook games and campaign visuals
- Develop concepts and communicate ideas for new designs and campaigns
- Develop mock-ups for pitch documents and for client meetings
- Work alongside advertisers,conceptualizers, design experts and developers
- Attend (client) meetings to discuss proposed designs and requested changes
That’s you
A reliable character who is committed to creating engaging design, enjoys working in an international team and always gets the best possible job done.
- Tertiary education required, preferably in a design related field
- Working knowledge of design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
- Passionate about design, creative thinking and paying attention to detail (key)
- Basic knowledge on digital enviroments and technologies
- Ability to participate in a paidinternship of 6 months
