This game involves hiding the valuable Saaz hop, Hansa’s special ingredient, in a busy image − then challenging friends to find it. Hide the Hop was shortlisted in the microsite category at the Loerie awards 2012.
While promoting the unique Saaz hop, around which the brand communication revolves, our online game simultaneously promotes the Special Inside promotion. The large and busy illustration in which players hide the hop features the Hansa show truck that toured South Africa, bringing live acts to the public during the online promotion. The game was implemented 100% in HTML5 and it is, therefore, independent of Flash. It also sustains a series of viral online promotions for Hansa Pilsener.
